MCC Hockey Club Registration

MCCHS Registration 2024

We’ve been counting down to the start of a new hockey season and are pleased to open registrations for the 2024 winter hockey season at the MCC Hockey Section.

The Committee has recognised that players and families have been and will continue to be impacted by cost of living pressures. We are therefore pleased to let you know that the club has maintained fee levels across all competitions for the second year in a row – fees remain at the same level as the 2022 season. We’re also pleased to introduce an over 60s discount for both mid-week Open / Masters 1 and 2 competitions – so if you turn 60 during 2024 you will receive a $50 discount.

We’ve been able to maintain the fee levels despite increased costs across the board. This has been in part due to the generosity of the MCC Foundation which has provided additional grant funding to help maintain fee levels this season. We are grateful for the generous support that the MCC Foundation provides the hockey section.

While the MCC Foundation support is welcomed, we continue to look for alternative ways to help fund costs and keep member fees down and also to contribute to capital works programs such as the new Elwood Pavillion. Please keep a look out for and support our social events throughout the upcoming season. We would love to hear from anyone who would like to become an MCC Hockey Section sponsor. Please contact your Section Head for further information.

As in previous years, registration involves two steps:

MCC Hockey is a not-for-profit organisation and one of the premier hockey clubs in Victoria. The Club is looking forward to another successful season in 2024 and looking to increase participation across our juniors, women’s, men’s and masters sections. Our focus is on helping make participation more affordable and also provide connections into the broader community.

We invite all players across all sections to explore individual player sponsorships, to assist in lowering the cost of participation for the upcoming season. Obtaining player sponsorship not only benefits players, but also provides an opportunity for MCC Hockey to promote local businesses and companies.
